Testimonials
'Seavoice provided an excellent, no-nonsense course at a well-chosen venue which left me qualified and, more importantly, confident to use my VHF properly. I have, since training with Seavoice, encountered a real emergency at sea and, as the quality training kicked in, was able to deal with the situation calmly.'

'I sat the DSC VHF course this springand enjoyed every minute of it. Happily, there were plenty of radios to play with and other gizmos like EPIRB's to learn about.
The course material was well presented in a friendly, but efficient atmosphere enjoyed by all - I learnt a lot that dayand would certainly return for anothercertificate course shouldI need to.'

'Paul’s course was just what I needed; it covered all the things I needed to know to enable me to take a yacht out to sea. Paul has the ability of making complex things simple – and his handy guide on a page was absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to get out onto the sea safely.'

'I arrived at the course expecting the day to be rather tedious. However, I was immediately impressed with the organisation of documentation and copious refreshments! The course benefitted from Paul’s relaxed style and constant interaction with the attendees together with his evident enthusiasm for the subject and desire to pass this knowledge on, which I presume has developed in part from his time with H M Coastguard.'

'Living on an inland waterway Dutch barge that is capable of going to sea to cross to the continent I thought it wise to get a VHF radio course under my belt.
The course I chose was Seavoice Training, which I found to be excellent. The instructor, Paul Harrison, gave a concise introduction, leading into the theory, the basic rules and operating sequence of VHF communication. This was followed by a well thought out series of hypothetical emergency situations for pupils to practice on.
I felt it was a worthwhile exercise, I now feel more confident of venturing into tidal, possibly hostile, waters.
I was recommended to Seavoice by a marina owning to friend of mine and have no hesitation of passing on that recommendation.'

Hi Paul,
I would just like to say thank you very much for a very well organised and presented course. I will feel confident
when I set sail from Holyhead in the spring.

"Being a real life HM Coastguard Officer Paul has unique experience in this field, which he very effectively transfers to his students. I feel like I've been given much more than one day of training."
"Paul uses actual radio equipment to train his students from multiple manufacturers, from bargain basement to top of the range. You use all the equipment throughout the day so you have the confidence to use whatever equipment is available to you in an emergency situation."
