VHF Marine Radio Refresher Course/Workshop
VHF Radio Refresher In-house Training Course
Have you passed your Marine VHF Radio course some time ago but would like to refresh your radio procedures? Well, this short course is just for you. We will teach you how to operate modern ICOM Marine DSC Radios.
This course is also suitable for crew members who would like to learn to operate the Marine VHF Radio without the pressure of taking the SRC exam.
We are happy to run VHF Radio Awareness Refresher courses for sailing clubs, dive clubs, etc. throughout Merseyside and Lancashire. This course is an in-house course run for groups (4 persons minimum) to a maximum of 10 persons. The duration of the course is 3 hours.
If you’re not part of a Club and would like to attend a VHF Radio Refresher course as an individual, you can join us by making a £40 payment to Seavoice Training by PayPal or BACS, when this course is run from one of our venues.
If the course is run from your venue or Club house, the course duration will be 3 hours and can be run over a weekend or evening. The fees will be £40 per person (minimum group 4 persons).
We will teach you how to communicate with other vessels at sea via the VHF Radio, but more importantly you will be able to contact the emergency services in a distress or urgency situation.
Want to know more about this refresher course or would like to book us to train your Club members, call us today on 01704 571903.
